El CUYO, Yucatán, Mexico

Since 2012, we have been designing educational and cultural experiences using nature’s genius to inspire creativity and build community around conservation. Our programs are for adults and children and for local and international groups. Our objective is to create experiences for participants to learn from nature and help with conservancy. We strongly believe that the lens we look at nature can shift the way we look at life itself.

Biomimika House Blend: Art-Science-Culture & Nature

Reforesting and becoming future planet care takers

El Cuyo Students were extremely happy to be able to learn, touch and try photography. Our staff has been dedicated to teach them with care while planting endangered species of trees and so reforesting the areas while promoting the local wildlife. With the use of real modern cameras, planting is not the only thing students have learned: observation and documentation are important tools to become a reporter. The lens we look at nature can change the way we look at life itself.

Planting a seed in Local Community while reducing the technological gap thanks to the partnership BIOMIMIKA & NIKON Mexico.

In 2014, more than 400 students from Kindergarden, primary, secondary, middle and high schools have planted more than 165 trees in their playing area hoping they would benefit soon from their shades… El Cuyo Students were extremely happy to be able to learn, touch and try photography.
